Long recognized as one of the
world’s talented on-stage performer, Lea Salonga received an overwhelming
positive review on her performance on the Café Carlyle, New York dated from May
21st to June 8th of this year.
Wearing
black with a sophisticated hairdo, the award-winning Lea Salonga enthralls
the listener with her well-known phasing and control over her voice. Her new
program entitled “Back to Before” was about her nostalgic performances as she
pays tribute to her favorite vocalists, Barbara Streisand and Ella Fitzgerald..
She
even joked that that there is no difference between a Disney princess and a
prostitute for having played two very different roles in her entire career.
The
accompaniment of the night was consisted of Larry Yurman (pianist), John Miller
(bass) and Jack Cavari (guitarist).
Heralded
on her magnificent work, Salonga has been a constant visitor of Las Vegas over
the years.
